From Overwhelmed to Wholehearted: My Journey to Acceptance and Peace

Parenting a neurodiverse child is a journey like no other, which can feel incredibly lonely, disheartening and overwhelming...

I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed—navigating systems that don’t always understand, questioning whether you’re doing enough, and carrying the heavy weight of “fixing” what doesn’t need fixing.

I’ve been there—falling into bed at night exhausted, waking up feeling the same and starting the next day with the same battles...with school, doctors, family and everyone that entered our circle.

What I discovered along the way changed everything—not just for me, but for my family.

When my son was first diagnosed with neurodivergence when he was little, I began searching for answers, tools, and strategies to “fix the struggles” we faced. It wasn't until we got the diagnosis of autism that things started to change.

We started to get support and the blinkers started to come off...Eventually, I had a realization: My child didn’t need fixing. What he needed was for me to show up as the calm, loving, and accepting parent that he deserved.

The shift didn’t come overnight. It came from deep mindset work, understanding the universal laws of energy and connection, and learning to advocate from a place of strength. As I embraced this wholehearted approach, I saw how love, acceptance, and peace transformed our lives.

That’s why I created Wholehearted Magic—to help other parents who are where I once was. Parents who are looking for more than survival. Parents who know that their children aren't bad kids, they're just different to other kids.

Parents who want tools, understanding, and a path to thrive in peace alongside their children.

My Mission

At Wholehearted Magic, I believe that parenting neurodiverse children starts with a shift:

  • From frustration to understanding
  • From fixing to embracing
  • From fear to peace

Through resources, tools, and guidance, I help parents like you step into a mindset of acceptance, calm, and advocacy, so your family can experience love and connection exactly as you all are.
